      以高岭土为填料的高填纤维复合材料的抗水性能较差。实验通过改变配方中填料的种类和添加AKD的方式来提高纤维复合材料的抗水性能。结果表明,用滑石粉、碳酸钙取代高岭土时,纤维复合材料的抗水性能明显改善。在纤维复合材料中添加AKD能在一定程度上改善以高岭土为填料的纤维复合材料的抗水性能,但AKD用量远大于常规纸张中AKD的用量。这种差别可能与纤维复合材料中的填料含量高、填料的粒径小和比表面积大等因素有关。
Abstract:
      Highly-filled fiber composite materials have very poor water resistance when clay is used as the filler. Attempts were made in this study to improve the water resistance through replacing the type of fillers used and using internal sizing with AKD size. It was found that when the clay filler was replaced with talc or calcium carbonate, the water resistance of the composite material could be greatly enhanced. It was also found that internal addition of AKD could significantly improve the water resistance of the composite materials filling with clay, but the AKD dosage needed was much higher than that used in conventional paper-making process. This difference is believed to be related with the facts of high filler loading, small particle size and high specific surface area of the clay filler used.
