In this review, the preparation methods of cellulose nanofibers (CNF) from cellulose were introduced. Modification methods such as adsorption, molecular grafting, and polymer grafting, were summarized to expand the application scope of CNF and endow it with novel functions. The applications of the synthesized functional CNF were expounded as well. Finally, the future development directions of functionalized CNF were forecasted. |
