      细菌纤维素是由细菌产生的纯度很高的纳米级纤维素,具有结晶度和纯度高、机械强度大和生物相容性好等特点。在植物纤维中添加细菌纤维素,可改善纸张性能。细菌纤维素可用于制备特种纸和“电子纸”。
Abstract:
      Bacterial cellulose (BC) is secreted by Acetobacter xylinum. Compared with plant fiber, it possesses an array of unique properties, including high crystallinity, high water content, biocompatibility, high mechanical strength and an ultra-fine fiber network. Bacterial cellulose can be used for making unusually strong paper, because it consists of extremely small clusters of cellulose microbrils, this property greatly upgrades the strength and durability of the paper when it is added to the paper. There are some issues in large-scale application of bacterial cellulose to be solved, such as the high cost, low yield, mechanical stability and so on.
