阳离子微粒氢氧化镁铝的合成及其微粒助留作用

摘    要:混合二元金属氢氧化物是自然界中唯一带有正电荷的粘土矿物,可望与阴离子聚丙烯酰胺组成阳离子微粒助留体系.本文采用共沉淀法合成了以Cl-为层间阴离子、以不同摩尔比的镁、铝为金属阳离子的混合二元金属氢氧化物一氢氧化镁铝胶体,并对其化学结构式、粒度、Zeta电位等进行了分析,研究了氢氧化镁铝对苇浆的微粒助留作用.结果表明,氢氧化镁铝在从酸性到碱性的抄纸pH值范围内均带有正电荷,其带电情况和粒度随镁铝摩尔比而变化.各镁铝摩尔比不同的氢氧化镁铝与阴离子聚丙烯酰胺均可组成有效的阳离腚子微粒助留体系,且阳离子氢氧化镁铝的粒度越小,其微粒助留作用越好.

Abstract:Layered double hydroxides consisting of layers with cationic charges may be the potential candidates of cationic microparticles forming retention aid system with anionic polyacrylamide. In this work, the layered double hydroxides-magnesium aluminum hydroxides with various molar ratios of Mg/Al were synthesized by co-precipitation of magnesium chloride and aluminum chloride and peptized by intense washing with water. The chemical formula, particle size and zeta potential were analyzed. It was found that the zeta potential and particle size of the colloidal magnesium aluminum hydroxide vary with the feed molar ratio of Mg/Al and the peptizing process respectively. The ze- ta potential is also pH dependent. The retention experiments carried out on DDJ showed that the positively charged colloidal double hy- droxide greatly improves the retention of reed pulps when it is used together with anionic polyacrylamide. The improvement depends on the chemical formula.
