| Abstract: |
| Polyurethane-based grafted starch is a new type of surface sizing agent in recent years. In this paper, polyurethane prepolymer was used as a special water-resisant monomer, polyurethane-based grafted starch agent with good performance was synthesized. The better synthesis conditions of prepolymer were as follows: The amount of toluene di-isocyanate is 15% of 1,4-butanediol, the temperature is 80℃. The optimal synthesis conditions of the sizing agent were as follows: the amount of prepolymer is 10% (on starch), the weight ratio of monomer to starch is 2∶1, the weight ratio of styene to butyl acrylate is 1.5∶1. |
