Abstract: |
The evaluation indexes of paper-making adaptability of pulp wood usually include the biological, growth rate, chemical composition and fiber morphology, etc. Higher correlation often exists between the indexes which will impact the reliability of the results. This paper selects 16 indices of 14 fast growing poplar species that are widely cultivated in Shandong province. Using grouped principal component analysis based on factor analysis comprehensively evaluated the 14 poplar varieties. The results showed that the meaning of factor corresponding to each index group is clear and the weight is allocated reasonably, and the correlation between the original indices is also eliminated. The new method provides the possibility to using fully use all of the property information to evaluate pulp wood objectively and reasonably aided by computer aid. |
