Abstract: |
Kraft reed pulp was pretreated by H2SO4, SHMP, DTPA before oxygen delignification, the effects of various pretreatments on the removal of ash and several metal ions were analyzed. The results showed that three pretreatments mentioned above were remarkable to remove ash and transition metals in pulp sample, i.e. with chelating agent DTPA, the removal rates of Fe3+ and Cu2+ were 54.0% and 67.3% respectively, Mn2+, Mg2+, Ca2+ were removed efficiently with H2SO4 pretreatment, and Fe3+ was removed selectively by using SHMP and meanwhile, acid-insoluble ash and alkali metal ions were retained considerably, thus it could be the optimum pretreatment agent for oxygen delignification. |
