Abstract:
Fiber morphologies of the tissue papers which were produced using virgin pulp (from mill B and D) and recycled pulp (from mill E) were compared. The results indicated that compared with the virgin pulp, the fibers both in recycled pulp and the resultant tissue paper had ink dirty mark, higher fluorescent whiteness and ERIC. The composition of recycled pulp was relatively complicated, it contained some mechanical pulp fibers and even undisintegrated fiber bundle. The fibrillation rate of the recycled fibers was quite high.
