| In this paper, the dolomite powder was used to prepare the paper filler by wet grinding process, the main parameters of the grinding were investigated. The results showed that the major factors affected the grinding efficiency were as follows: mass ratio of grinding balls to dolomite powder, grinding time and dispersant dosage. Under the condition with 0.5% of dispersant, 60% of slurry concentration, mass ratio of ball to powder at 6∶1, and grinding at 3000 r/min for 45 min, a paper filler containing 66.2% of particles smaller than 2 μm could be acquired. |
