Abstract: |
Fiber morphologies of the virgin pulp and the tissue paper produced from the pulp (from mill F) as well as the waste paper pulp and the tissue paper produced from the pulp (from mill G) were analyzed, to figure out the fibrous morphology differences. Furthermore, by adding different percent of DIP to virgin pulp to figure out the effect of the DIP on the fiber morphology of the mixed pulps. Results showed that, with increasing percent of DIP, the mixed pulps had higher Rfluor and Eric value, which was no more than 20 mg/kg when the DIP percent was less than 40%. With increasing percent of DIP, there were more mechanical pulp fiber and undisintegratedfiber bundles. |
