| Abstract: |
| Steel dryer of paper machine with the advantages of safety and high heat efficiency is manufactured by coiling and welding the steel plate, there are grooves on its inner side. The deformation caused by the linear load of the roll underneath will affect the drying effect of the wet web. So calculation for stiffness design is necessary. The shortcomings of calculation based on Mangeldorfs approximation formula was pointed out, and the calculation method of deformation of the dryer with and without the ribs under the linear load, together with the calculation method for stiffness design were presented． |
