Abstract: |
This paper took p-hydroxyphenyl propionic acid(HL) as the model compound of lignin to investigate the degradation of HL by homogeneous Fenton reagent. It was showed that the factors of pH value, dosages of H2O2 and Fe2+, initial concentration of HL, reaction time and UV irradiation etc had obvious influence on degradation of HL. The experimental results demonstrated that at original pH=4.0 and room temperature, 79.2% of HL was degradation during 60 minutes period when the dosage of H2O2 was two times of the theoretical quantity and Fe2+/H2O2 molar ratio=1∶100. By using the UV irradiation in Fenton process, the synergistic effect could be obtained and the degradation rate increased obviously. The removal rate of HL and TOC reached 98.3%, 79.6% respectively during 20 minutes at the same conditions. |
