Abstract: |
High consistency conical cleaner is necessary for increasing production of recycled pulp, and separating resistance between impurities and fibers is an important factor for its efficient purification. Based on the invention patent of the new flow-oriented high consistency conical cleaner, firstly, the basic characteristics of OCC pulp, ONP pulp, bamboo pulp, corn straw pulp and two main types of impurities were studied; secondly, the impacts of the characteristics of the pulps and impurities on separating resistance were discussed; the relevant mathematical models to analysis fluid resistance and resistance coefficient were established. It was found that the separating resistance was larger in pulp suspensions with high viscosity, low beating degree and high consistency; the impurities of ONP pulp were easier to be separated than those of OCC pulp; under the same separation conditions, the bigger the diameter of the impurity, the greater the fluid resistance, and both of separating power and resistance increased with the increase of the density of impurities in the separation process; and mathematical model of fluid resistance Fz and drag coefficient CD could be expressed respectively as the formulas: Fz=CDAρfu22 and CD=4πdg3u2(ρ/ρf-1). |
