Abstract:
      Based on the application of relevant theories and experimental results in heat transfer to denl with the heat transfer on a rectangular ribbed cylindrical dryer, condensation heat transfer of saturated steam on the rib tip and flank, and the convective heat transfer of condensate on the rib groove bottom were analyzed, and the condensation formulas of the heat transfer coefficients were deduced respectively, which could be used as a reference in the calculation of heat transfer from the rectangular ribbed dryer to the paper. The preliminary investigation results showed that a wider and shorter rib might result in a better heat transfer, the thermal resistance of the inside wall was the smallest, the dryer shell was the next, and the outside wall was the largest.
