| Abstract: |
| Lightly cross-linked amphoteric polyacrylamide (AmPAM) was synthesized by the aqueous solution copolymerization method using acrylamide (AM), 2-methacryloxyethyl trimethyl ammonium chloride (DMC) and acrylic acid (AA) as monomers, N-methylolacrylamide (NMA) as molecular structure modification additive. The strengthening effect of AmPAM was also studied.The results showed that the optimal polymerization conditions were: n(AM)∶n(DMC)∶n(AA)=8.0∶1.5∶0.5, the mass fraction of monomer was 20%, the dosage of initiator was 0.4%, the reaction temperature was 80℃, the reaction time was 5 h, the dosage of NMA was 3% respectively. Meanwhile, the strengthening effect of the lab-made AmPAM applied in paper was better than that of the commercial linear AmPAM products with the same addition. |
