Abstract:
      In order to overcome the limitations of traditional optical method for detecting the hole defect on the paper, the depth of field imaging method was proposed. First, measurement models were established, which included optical depth of field model and imaging geometric model. Then through CCD imaging measurement process deduction, video output signal was related to the depth of defect point only. Finally residual factor of aberration model was used to improve accuracy of measurement. Experimental result showed that the measure results were more close to the real size of the paper hole, the accuracy of measurement was higher than traditional optical and manual measurements.
