Abstract: |
It is great significant to study the efficient cleaning principles or methods of the pulp from waste paper, as waste paper has accounted for more than 65% of fiber raw material used in China’s paper industry. On the basis of analysis of the existing waste paper pulp cleaning principles and methods, a new type high consistence waste paper pulp cleaning system by adding dissolved air water was developed. The cleaning efficiencies of two typical waste paper pulps, OCC and ONP, were studied through simulation experiments. The results showed that the cleaning efficiency of the novel cleaning principles and methods was improved compared with the traditional methods. When waste paper pulp consistence was 1%~4%, working pressure was 0.2~0.5 MPa, pressure drop was 0.20~0.45 MPa, the adding proportion of dissolved air water was 60% based on the water contained in the pulp, the separation efficiency of the impurities increased by 18.4%~27.2%. Under the same conditions, due to the density of OCC pulp suspension was about 13.4% lower than ONP pulp suspension, and its cleaning efficiency was about 4.2% higher than ONP pulp suspension. |
