Abstract:
      Microbial ecosystem of rumen is an ancient anaerobic ecosystem. The rumen microorganisms have been studied and applied in many fields due to its multiple enzyme system and remarkable degradation ability of lignocelluloses materials. This paper mainly introduced the composition of rumen microorganisms and the abilities of the bacteria and fungus in the rumen liquid to degrade lignocellulose materials. The paper summarized the current application situation of the rumen microorganisms in biomass waste materials recycling fields including the abilities of the rumen microorganisms to hydrolyze and degrade lignocelluloses, materials, the methane productivity and the anaerobic reactors. Finally further study directions in the area was also pointed out in this paper.
