Abstract:
      UV light was used to accelerate the yellowing of the deinked pulps (unbleached pulp, PNaOH bleached pulp, PMg(OH)2 bleached pulp), and three evaluation indicators of pulp brightness loss, PC number and chromatic aberration were used in combination to evaluate their yellowing behaviour. And a mathematical model describing photoyellowing of deinked pulp was established. The results showed that pulp brightness loss, PC number and chromatic aberration had a linear relationship with b*. With the time of UV irradiation increasing, the pulp brightness loss, PC number and chromatic aberration increased continuously and the yellowing speed declined from fast to slow. The brightness stability of PMg(OH)2 bleached pulp was better than PNaOH bleached pulp. And the established mathematical model was generally applicable.
