Abstract: |
The numerical simulation of the flow field in the headbox with roller and shell was carried out by using the computational fluid dynamics software FLUENT, which analyzed the relationship between jet velocity, grooved roller speed and pressure, and the structure of the overflow surge chamber was optimized. The simulation results showed that the pressure of mixing chamber and overflow surge chamber in headbox with roller and shell were affected not only by the jet velocity and the speed of grooved roller, but also the inlet angle of the overflow surge chamber. The ideal pressure variation and pressure range of overflow surge chamber could be achieved by changing the inlet angle. |
