Abstract: |
The silver nanoparticles were prepared using nanocrystalline cellulose (NCC) as the carrier, PVP as the dispersant, glucose as the reducing agent, and silver nitrate as the source of silver. Then the silver-loaded nanocrystalline cellulose solution was prepared in situ and was characterized by UV-Vis spectrophotometer, transmission electron microscopy and X-ray diffractometer. The results showed that the average particle size of silver nanoparticles in the silver-loaded nanocrystalline cellulose system was 10~20 nm, which was crystal structure and uniformly dispersed, and had good antibacterial properties. The antibacterial performance of the silver-loaded nanocrystalline cellulose was tested by the bacteriostatic zone method and the system showed good inhibitory effects on E.coli and S.aureus. |
