Abstract: |
The research progress in thermochemical conversion of paper sludge including pyrolysis, gasification and combustion were addressed. The characteristics and kinetics of paper sludge pyrolysis and combustion were summarized. The effect of catalysts on pyrolysis and the influence of atmosphere on gasification characteristics of paper sludge were discussed. The methods of co-pyrolysis and co-combustion of paper sludge with other fuels were also presented. Finally, the prospect of efficient and cleaner utilization of paper sludge was described. |
