Abstract:
In this study, boron nitride composite insulation paper with improved thermal conductivity and electrical insulation properties were produced by mixing pulp fiber, and h BN which was modified by 3-amopropyl triethoxy silane (APTES). The results showed that the modification of APTES to h-BN was successful and thermostability of the modified h BN decreased slightly. When h-BN content was 40 wt%, the thermal conductivity and volume resistivity of the composite insulation paper was 0.682 W/(m·K) and 4.72×1014 Ω·cm, respectively, a 387 % and 84.4% increase compared with that of control paper sample. Therefore, h-BN composite insulation paper had a potential application in the fields of power and electronic.
