Abstract: |
A multi-walled carbon nanotubes magnetic nanoparticles (Fe3O4@MWSNTs) were successfully synthesized and exploited as sorbent for extraction of benzenes pollutants. The novel nanocomposites were characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), elemental analysis (EA) methods. A analysis method of combining magnetic solid-phase extraction procedure with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (MSPE-GC/MS) was developed for determination of benzenes pollutants in paper making wastewater. The results demonstrated that Fe3O4 nanoparticles were well attached to MWCNTs, when the content of C was 37.45%, the size of Fe3O4 was between 50~200 nm, and the hydrophilic was moderate. Compared to liquid-liquid extraction, the established method had the advantages including simple, rapid, easy to operate and less organic solvent consumed for the trace analysis of the benzenes pollutants with little matrix interference and better adsorption capacity. |
