Abstract:
      In this paper, the cutting performances of isometric curved bar plate and straight bar plate were studied. The average length of fibers, the distribution of length components, the original cutting rate and the adjacent cutting rate of fibers were used to analyze the cutting process of two refining plates. It was found that the cutting mechanisms of the curved bar and the straight bar plates were different. The curved bar plate had uniform fiber cutting, and the fiber length could be effectively reserved; on the other hand the straight bar plate had a strong fiber cutting effect, and the fiber could be cut off fast, therefore the curved bar plate was more suitable for the refining of waste paper pulp, hardwood and straw pulps.
