Abstract: |
This paper reviewed the research progress in the application of deep eutectic solvent (DES) in selective dissolution of lignin, cellulose, and hemicellulose during the pretreatment of lignocellulosic materials in recent years. The effect of DES types, component, and process conditions on the selective dissolution of lignin, hemicelluloses and cellulose were discussed, the mechanism of the dissolution of lignocellulosic materials was summarized, which provided a theoretical basis for the theoretical design of a novel, green, and high-efficiency DES for pretreating lignocellulosic biomass. |
