Abstract: |
The properties of cellulose nanocrystal (CNC), cellulose nanofiber (CNF), and bacterial cellulose (BC) were characterized by X-ray diffraction, contact angle analysis, UV-VIS-NIR spectrometer, and thermal analysis (TG). The paper samples were treated with these three nano-cellulose dispersions to study their reinforcement effect on the paper. The results showed that compared with CNC and CNF, BC had the advantages of high crystallinity, good film compactness, high thermal stability, high light transmittance, and good mechanical properties. The three kinds of nano-cellulose could strengthen the paper, in which BC could greatly improve the mechanical properties of the paper and have slight impact on paper color. |
