Abstract: |
Hydroxyapatite nanowire (HAPNW) grafted with carboxyl groups were prepared by hydrothermal method, which was then used to prepare HAPNW modified composite paper and its dielectric and mechanical properties were investigated as well. The results showed that when the additive amount of HAPNW was 10 wt%, the tensile index and the maximum breakdown voltage of the modified composite paper was 122 N∙m/g and 630.4 V, respectively. The breakdown strength of modified composite paper was up to 11.4 MV/m with addition of 5.0 wt% PEG2000. Furthermore, the strength improving mechanism of the modified HAPNW composite paper was generally discussed, so as to provide references for the modification of paper with inorganic fillers and design of insulation paper. |
