Abstract:
In order to improve the uniformity of air-laid papermaking, the fluid dynamics of the negative pressure box structure in the forming distributor was simulated by Fluent software, the influences of negative pressure box internal structure and exhausting volume on the uniformity of flow field distribution in the box was studied. The velocity inhomogeneity coefficients of 120 selected sampling points under different negative pressure box structure and different exhausting volume were obtained from the simulation calculation, the variation law of flow field was then obtained accroding to the variation curve of the above-caculated velocity inhomogeneity coefficients. The results showed that the negative pressure box with open five-duct structure is more conducive to the formation of uniform and stable flow field, and the exhausting volume has minor effect on the uniformity of internal flow field.
