Abstract: |
UiO-66/CF was prepared by hydrothermal synthesis method with cotton pulp fiber (CF) as the base material and Zr6O4(OH)4-(BDC)6 (UiO-66) as the metal organic framework material (MOF). UiO-66/CF was modified by octadecylphosphonic acid (OPA) to introduce hydrophobic alkyl chains on its surface so as to synthesize OPA-UiO-66/CF. The surface morphology, crystal structure, and hydrophobic & lipophilic properties of OPA-UiO-66/CF were analyzed and characterized. The results show that UiO-66 can uniformly load on the surface of CF, and the particle size of which is 1/10 of that of pure UiO-66. OPA-UiO-66/CF is of hydrophobic & lipophilic properties with separation efficiency for water-in-oil emulsions up to 99.6%. |
