Abstract: |
As a renewable natural carbon based organic polymer with huge reserves, lignin has unique natural fiber structure and rich functional groups. After heat treatment, carbonization and activation, different lignin will be transformed into high value-added carbon materials, such as porous carbon, carbon nanofibers, activated carbon, etc. The lignin composite materials and lignin derived carbon were introduced, and the application research of by-product lignin in electrochemical energy storage materials in the papermaking industry in recent years were reviewed in this paper. Under the current dual carbon background, the research on lignin and lignin derived carbon has great significance for the comprehensive utilization of by-product in the papermaking industry, providing new ideas for the clean production of the paper industry. |
