Abstract:
The research advance of lignin-based UV blocking film materials was summarized based on three composite systems: composite with cellulose, degradable plastics and other polymer materials. Firstly, the correlation between lignin molecular structure and UV absorption was clarified, and the effects of lignin molecular structure on the light stability, mechanical strength and barrier properties of the composites were discussed. The reinforcement mechanism of lignin and functional application of different lignin-based composite film materials was discussed. In addition, based on the functional properties of lignin such as ultraviolet absorption, the fabrication and potential application of lignin-based multifunctional composite films were prospected, which provided an important reference for the conversion and high-value utilization of lignin.
