Abstract:
      In this study, ozone bleaching technology was introduced into bleaching process of soda-AQ pulp after oxygen delignification treatment. The effects of ozone concentration, temperature, type and dosage (relative to dry pulp weight) of protectant on the bleached pulp and physical properties of paper prepared were studied to preliminarily obtain the optimum bleaching parameters. The results showed that when 80 g/Nm3 of ozone was used in bleaching process with 1.0% of oxalic acid as protective agent at 10 ℃, the bleached pulp with 72.8% brightness was produced, the viscosity and Kappa number of it were 678 mL/g and 4.18, respectively. Besides, physical properties of paper prepared by bleached pulp were tested, the tensile index of paper was up to 78.9 N·m/g, and the burst index, tearing index and folding times were 4.99 kPa·m2/g, 5.96 mN·m2/g, 38 times, respectively.
