Abstract:
      Pretreatment can break the natural recalcitrance of lignocellulosic biomass, promoting its more efficient conversion and utilization. In this paper, the advantages and disadvantages of traditional pretreatment methods were summarized, and the mechanism and application research progress of advanced molten salt hydrate (MSH) pretreatment methods were reviewed. Specifically, the characteristics of MSH pretreatment methods, the principle of the reaction process and the influencing factors of pretreatment effect were also summarized. The advantages and challenges of MSH pretreatment were discussed, and prospects for their future research and application were presented.
