Abstract:
In this paper, the structure and characteristics of lignin were introduced, and its advantages as a precursor of hard carbon materials for sodium ion batteries were expounded. The preparation methods of lignin-based hard carbon materials were summarized in detail, including pretreatment methods, carbonization process and subsequent modification strategies. In addition, based on the structure and preparation process of lignin, the optimization methods of the electrochemical properties improvement of carbon materials were discussed, and the application research progress of lignin-based carbon materials in sodium ion batteries was summarized, as well as the challenges faced by this kind of materials in practical application at present. Finally, the prospect of promoting the large-scale application of lignin-based hard carbon materials in the field of sodium ion batteries in the future was put forward.
